Yeah! Vacation!

I'm going on a little vacation next week! On Sunday I'm headed to Utah to visit Brock's brother Justin and his wife Shannon. I am so excited because Brock will be there for a camp for part of the time, so we will get to see each other for more than 24 hours for once. Shannon is pregnant too, so I imagine we will be doing all kinds of pregnant girl things like eating ice cream, taking belly pictures and shopping for baby clothes...haha, just kidding! But I am serious about shopping for baby clothes...don't tell Brock. (Okay and eating ice cream...) But I am so excited and cannot wait to see them!
P.s.- I'm sorry to everyone that is asking for belly pictures. I am lame and haven't even taken any! So Brock's Aunt Julie toook some the other day at Grandpa's birthday party (okay, that is a weird sentence) and she is going to send them to me, when I get them I will post them :)

We're going to find out...eventually...

So, because Brock is out of town 5 days a week every week, we realized that it is going to be really hard for him to be at the ultrasound when we find out if our baby is a boy or girl...bummer. Brock is really adamant that no one (not even me!) find out any earlier than him. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next Friday and they should be able to tell me what our baby is. So instead of finding out then and there I'm going to have the doctor write down our "result" and we can open it when Brock gets home that weekend. Yes, we are trying to make things harder... But in the meantime I thought it would be fun to do a little poll and see what you all think it is. Brock and I are sure that it's a boy. Let me know what you think!

It's been a while...

I guess I really should blog something, it's just that I really have nothing to blog about. Unless you really want to hear about how I've been moving my junk in and sleeping like all day everyday and Brock has been out of town for a few weeks doing camps...there is really nothing going on. But, just to tide things over (or until something exciting does happen around here) and add some pictures, I will show you what I have been eyeing for baby.

This travel system is so cute and could totally work for boys or girls later down the road. Plus there's tons of other pieces that match it like the swing and a pack n' play.

This bedding is totally for a girl, I just love how frilly it is!

This one is cute for a boy, it's made out of that super-soft material so it's really comfy.

I love this one for a boy too.And then this one is for me...I really want that Cake bag, but something tells me my husband would kinda freak out if I spent $300 on anything that doesn't have GPS...bummer.

I go to the Dr. for the first time since I've been in Arizona tomorrow. I'm 19 weeks so I should totally be able to find out what it is already. Unortunately, Brock is out of town until next Friday and he really wants me to wait for him to be there when I find out. I'm already dying to know so I hope that I can hold out when I get the ultrasound :)

What is it about Men...

So Brock can pretty much fix anything...or so I thought... If there's a car problem he can tell what it is just by listening and he'll know everything about every part and how to replace it. If the computer is acting up, he'll spend 20 minutes with it and it's working again. He knows exactly how to fix the refridgerator the fans and even the toilet. But the other day I asked him to take apart my swiffer so that I could pack it. He seriously looked at and pulled on it a few times, then handed it back to me and says "I have no idea how to do this" and walks away.... I guess it's just not a manly enough task :)
