Anyone Wanna Come??

I was in Domestic Bliss in downtown Mesa today for the first time in a long time, and they have have this new cute little studio now, and they teach fun little classes on all kinds of freakin' adorable, crafty, domestic-y stuff. So, next month they have a 4-day class called Basic Sewing...and I think I'm going to do it. I have never...ever...ever sewed and been good at it. When I was 10 or 11 my mom put me in a sewing class at this woman's house and I went a few days a week for about 2 months. I ended up making 1 thing- this huge, baby blue, polka dot t-shirt. And it was absolutely terrible! I was recalling to my mom tonight and saying "the lady was always running over to my machine and yelling 'wait! stop! you're going to have to rip that out.' So I don't think I quite caught on." But I think that it is time to try again. So, I have decided to sign-up for the class next month. And I was thinking it would be WAY more fun if someone came with me! Check out the website for Blissful Living Studio and look at the calender. You will die at how cute this place is! I think I found something...

I have had the hardest, hardest, hardest time shopping for this little guy! I just cannot talk myself into thinking that anything for a boy is cute! So the search for bedding has been pretty much atrocious because I love everything that is pink and pretty and flowery. But I think that I finally found a cute, all-boy fabric that I really kind of love :) I am ordering it on etsy.com (awesome, by the way, check out this site if you haven't already) What do you think??

So this morning I was googling around for nursery decor ideas, and I happened upon the following picture...

Are they serious?? I'm sure that they won't pronounce it that way...maybe Damon or something...but really?

And we finally have an answer...

It's a BOY!!

We could not be more excited! I picked Brock up from the airport and we were going to open it when we sat down to eat, but we couldn't wait! We just ripped it right open in the car! I think that Brock had a huge sigh of relief that it's a boy :)


I had the ultrasound this morning and he was moving so much and doing all kinds of cute stuff. He was touching his face and stretching his arms, and then he even pulled his legs up by his ears! It was so funny. The nurse said he's really active which surprised me because I only feel him every once in a while. He is 11'' long and weighs .8 ounces right now. You could see his little heart beating too and all his little bones in his back and his feet! It is so weird that now that I know what he is and got to see him (and it actually looked like a baby) I love him so much! We are so excited! Let the shopping begin...

Yeah! Vacation!

I'm going on a little vacation next week! On Sunday I'm headed to Utah to visit Brock's brother Justin and his wife Shannon. I am so excited because Brock will be there for a camp for part of the time, so we will get to see each other for more than 24 hours for once. Shannon is pregnant too, so I imagine we will be doing all kinds of pregnant girl things like eating ice cream, taking belly pictures and shopping for baby clothes...haha, just kidding! But I am serious about shopping for baby clothes...don't tell Brock. (Okay and eating ice cream...) But I am so excited and cannot wait to see them!
P.s.- I'm sorry to everyone that is asking for belly pictures. I am lame and haven't even taken any! So Brock's Aunt Julie toook some the other day at Grandpa's birthday party (okay, that is a weird sentence) and she is going to send them to me, when I get them I will post them :)
