R.I.P iPod

My iPod is officially dunzo... One minute I'm totally jamming out and then the next it's showing me this sad little iPod on the screen with x's on its eyes and a frown... The guy at the Genius Bar at the Apple store said "it's done and you should probably buy a new one". Right, I'll just whip out $300 that isn't needing to go to important things like...rent? Point is, I can't afford one and I am devestated over this loss. So, because Brock is such a helpful husband, he searched all over the internet for solutions and ideas to fix my sad little iPod. He came across some interesting ones that involved dropping my iPod from about 7' onto a carpeted surface or smacking the back with your hand and then immediately trying to turn it on...to no avail. Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do? My iPod is kinda my lifeline and I am dying without it!!

I "bought" Tyler's 30GB video iPod from him while we were home last time. Remember the one that supposedly broke in his backpack, so now he has a new one? Spoiled!

Anyway, Richard bought a little kit to replace the screen. He just has to actually sit down and tinker with it. If he gets it working, you are welcome to have it. What am I going to do with an iPod? I can't hear my crying babies if I have things in my ears.

How about this deal...if the iPod gets working, you can have that and a bunch of those headbands for your sister, in exchange for cutting my hair? Are you bringing your scissors to AZ with you? Is that an even trade? I'll still buy the color stuff.

Okay, longest comment ever. sorry!

Sharisa,
I can't wait for you to come into town!!! I am just too excited. We can eat wherever you like when you come down. I totally know how it is to miss eating somewhere.
